This years Carling Cup final will be played between two of the teams who are at the wrong end of the Premier League table. Arsenal are fighting for the Premier League tile while Birmingham City are fighting for survival in the league but on Sunday they have a chance to get their hands on the silverware which is very important for both the team and ofcource for the same reason of winning habbit and confidence.
Arsenal havnt won a trophy since they beat manchester United in the FA Cup final in 2005 when they went on to win the FA Cup by defeated United on Penalties since than they are struggling to win any trophy but now have a wonderfull chance of making this great season even more special by winning their first trophy which would give them more confidence going into the final stages of the other big events they are involved at the moment.
