Lucia Francisca Susi Susanti (born in Tasikmalaya, West Java on 11 February 1971) is a retired Chinese Indonesian badminton player. Relatively small of stature, she combined quick and graceful movement with elegant shotmaking technique, and rates among the most successful players in the history of the women's game. Sometimes her name is also spelled Susy Susanti.
She retired from the world badminton circuit not long after her marriage to Alan Budikusuma, (who had also won a badminton singles gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics) in February 1997. Susanti was the most dominant women's singles player in the first half of the 1990s, winning the All-England in 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1994, the World Badminton Grand Prix finale five times consecutively from 1990 to 1994 as well as in 1996, and the IBF World Championships in 1993.

Alan Budikusuma (born March 29, 1968;) is a former Chinese Indonesian badminton player who excelled at the world level from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s. In 1991 he was runner-up to China's Zhao Jianhua at the IBF World Championships in Copenhagen. He won the 1992 Olympic men's singles gold medal at Barcelona, defeating fellow countryman Ardy Wiranata in the final. Among his titles, all in singles, are the Thailand Open (1989, 1991), China Open (1991), German Open (1992), Indonesian Open (1993), World Cup (1993), and Malaysian Open(1995). Budikusuma was a member of world champion Indonesian Thomas Cup teams in 1994 and 1996. He is married to Susi Susanti, a women's badminton Olympic gold medalist (also in 1992) and one of the most accomplished women's players in the history of the sport.

(born Purwokerto, Central Java, 11 December 1949) is a former Indonesian badminton player. Though early in his career he was a fine singles player who reached the final of the prestigious All-England Championship in 1973, Christian's success in doubles earned him recognition as one of great doubles players in badminton history. He won two gold medals at the 1980 IBF World Championships in Jakarta, in men's doubles together with Ade Chandra, and in mixed doubles together with Imelda Wiguna. He played for Indonesia for 15 years, beginning his career in 1971 and retiring in 1986. Christian's Thomas Cup (Men's International Team Championship) record is particularly notable. Playing in six consecutive campaigns from 1973 to 1986, and with a variety of doubles partners, he dropped only one match, thus helping Indonesia to capture the cup on four occasions (1973, 1976, 1979, 1984).
