At last Franck Ribery’s agent claims that the French and Bayern Munich midfielder wants to leave Bayern Munich and join Real Madrid, despite Chelsea having made him their main target this summer.Manchester United have also monitored the 26-year-old, who has a £50 million price tag.
Like Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United for Real Madrid and Brazilian forward Kaka rejecting late overtures from Chelsea to move to the Bernabeu, Ribery’s decision to pursue a move to Madrid appears to have left the Premier League trailing La Liga once again. All the players want to go La Liga, isn't it?
Ribery’s agent, Alan Miglaccio, said: "The player has spoken with (Real sporting adviser) Zinedine Zidane and wants to sign for Real.
"At this time any move is off because the people at Bayern are on holiday until the end of the month. I cannot say anything more until we meet with them in the coming weeks."
